1. A student is not officially enrolled without a letter from their senior pastor acknowledging their call to the ministry and listing information such as: Ministry track and other contact information. This letter should be sent to the Secretary of the Ministerial Studies Board.
2. Official transcripts of all course work need to be submitted by January 31 and/or July 31 of each year. This allows time for updating records or the evaluation of transfer work before the official meetings of the Ministerial Studies Board.
3. When evaluating transcripts only those courses with grades higher than a D will be accepted as of
May 1, 2007.
4. The Board reserves the right to evaluate the validity of any work submitted and has final authority on what will be accepted for credit in the course of study.
a. Ministerial studies credit will not be given for CLT courses, CEU credits, audited courses, and work done at non-accredited institutions.
b. Courses in Theology and Holiness must be taken in a Wesleyan tradition school or course of study.
c. Courses in History and Polity must be taken in an approved Nazarene course of study or
school.
5. The Ministerial Studies Board records will be considered the official records but students are encouraged to keep records of their grades, course work and praxis reports.
6. We will accept only four (4) courses for Modular Plus courses from NBC and NNC Modular Plus type courses. (The two (2) course maximum for Directed Studies courses is included in this number.) This is also on a case by case basis.
7. Only two (2) courses may be taken by Directed Study.
8. All completed course work approved by another district will be accepted. Upon transfer, students
will be required to fulfill the standards of the New England Ministerial Studies Board for graduation from the course of study.

decisions on what courses will be accepted for credit. If a student does not agree with the decision, they may petition, in writing, to the whole board.
11. Credit toward ordination is accepted from Reynolds Institute, ENC Certificate Program and theNBC Alliance Program. Graduates with degrees in a curriculum validated by a Regional COSAC are considered to have completed all course work for ordination.
